Took a trusty old steel frame that somebody couldn't part with and gave it new life with a disk brake tab.............even managed to match the old paint with some camo green that I had from a previous frame. I used a "donor" hub with a rotor bolted on and also used an Avid brake caliper to hold the tab in place.
Just stuff about me and building bike frames & such in the Smokehouse……. http://smokebikes.com gabeh43@bellsouth.net

So here it is.....ST 70, HT 68 (un-compressed), WB 39", TT 21" (horizontal), clearance 11.25", CS 16", standover 25", top of seat to the ground 30.5", 26" front wheel, 24" rear, rattle can camo paint. Been a while.................
Well the holdiays are over and it's been too long since we have done anything. First up, I'll finish the kids bike 46'r project.......which is all brazed up and ready for paint prep. Next we have started the 36'r project and soon I will start the "Suicycle V2.0" which will be a trike (only different). Smokebikes has had an epiphany in which we are no longer "selling" frames but plan to just build stuff we want, for who, when, and how we want. We are very pleased with this true direction and will leave the bizzness, bread and butter building to the PROS...........As for this blog, nothing will change and all projects will be layed out in all thier Smokey wonder. Peace, gabe
