The "yard bike" will have options for SS or geared. I'll be using an EBB to do this......so here are a few of the details in picture.

Going to attempt to build a yard bike for the kid.............he's ten now and thinks he wants to do a few log runs. My objective will be to build a short wheel based bike with a 20" wheel in the back and a 24" up front........the tubing will be the Columbus Life stuff that was passed on to me. It will be burly enough to handle any size rider.

from my friends. Mr. Pisgah Pro. hooked me up with a tube-set today. Some forgotten tubing from a forgotten builder........some big fat "vintage" Columbus Life tubing. So this frame is destined for some burly yard riding. Built for a ten year old to play on logs and jump a few gaps.

Best kept secret............

There is a trail out in eastern NC that is so sweet, you'd think you where on a roller coaster for mountain bikes.............The Bike Post Trail outside of Greenville, NC is a pleasant surprise.
