Fixin some funk............

Been working/finishing on this frame with Eric for a while now...........here is a sequence to show how to smooth out a fillet. First you clean it with some alcohol them flux it up and heat......notice how the flux gets chalky...........this means that it is "fixed" to the steel.........when it turns liquid and clear you start adding the brass......etc.

Weekend build...day two

Ultimately the day was good but it had it's set-back. I used seat stays that didn't allow enough clearance for a 2.1 mtb tire, so I had to re-do the ss and the result was lot-o-clearance.

Little 29'r in three days...........

We're gonna build a frame start to "finish" in three days.......well most of it accept the final finishing/sanding, and paint.

Day 1...........

The Dancer...........

We just finished this one for a young lady who wanted a bike to go bar hopin and dancing. This bike is for getting around town in comfort but it has the heart of a mountain bike for when she dables in the dark side of ridding...........it's her "first fat" tire bike.
